In the end making sure every part of a companies online presence has a call to action is beneficial across many levels. It helps site viewers see the full breadth of a company. Calls to action encourage viewers to do something more, which typically ends in them contributing or helping the company in some way. Really there is no bad side to having a call to action (or multiple calls to action).
